Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role Overview: This position involves assisting in surgical procedures within the operating room, performing scrub functions such as handling instruments and supplies, and circulating duties like monitoring patient condition and managing nursing care before, during, and after surgeries. The role requires preparing surgical environments and supporting the operating physician with tasks including hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Key Responsibilities Perform scrub functions during surgeries, managing instruments and supplies. Perform circulating duties, monitoring and communicating patient status. Assist surgeons with surgical tasks and patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current state license (multi-state/Compact). Completion of a nursing diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent professional licensure. Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire and BLS certification within 1 month.
