Associate Pricing Planner - Women's Apparel - Hybrid (Seattle, WA)

Overview Associate Pricing Planner – Nordstrom Merchandising Group Price team. Responsible for analyzing, recommending, and executing in‑season pricing strategies to support assigned business unit and company objectives and guidelines. Success will be measured in terms of impact on sales, margin and inventory health. Responsibilities Execute in‑season activities: manage markdowns, dropship, and competitive intelligence using data and insights. Develop and deliver operational, competitive and strategic insights related to in‑season performance to influence and inform business stakeholders. Optimize pricing for designated business areas across full price and off‑price lines to drive profitable sales and improve inventory health (turn, sell‑through, etc.). Activate and manage pricing tests within the designated business area to drive continuous improvement in business results. Build strong, trusted relationships with buyers, buy planners and financial managers, providing analysis that informs and shifts business strategy. Optimize markdown budgets to meet unit goals and effectively manage opportunities and nuances. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business, economics, math, finance, statistics or engineering. 3–5+ years of experience in retail, analysis and/or pricing. Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large and varied data sets into actionable insights. Advanced Excel proficiency required. Merchandising knowledge and experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to lead, facilitate and present to groups of varying size. Strong organizational, planning and time‑management skills. Positive can‑do attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to build effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels. Pay Range $93,500.00 – $155,000.00 annual.
