Countryside Daycare & Preschool is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher for our pre-kindergarten early learning program.

Qualifications: At least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the human services field.

Experience: Two years of experience teaching children in an early learning setting.

Job Specific Performance Expectations:

Establish, maintain, and implement standards of classroom management that support instruction while teaching the ECE curriculum

Instruct assigned class with the ability to observe & assess children and plan and implement lesson plans

Perform assessments and write reports

Conduct a periodic review of educational goals and adapt plans as needed.

Responsible to work in conjunction with the Director of Programs regarding daily issues and concerns.

Responsible to perform duties professionally in response to a variety of students, co-workers, and situations.

Other Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians

Ability to maintain high-level standards of confidentiality concerning center, staff, and family matters
