Data Center TechnicianLocation: Onsite – Mesa, East Valley PHXEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a motivated Data Center Technician to support daily operations in a high‑availability data center environment. This role is well‑suited for individuals who enjoy hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and maintaining critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working with hardware, cabling, and general IT systems, and thrives in a structured, fast‑paced environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber‑optic connections.Perform hardware installation tasks such as racking servers, network switches, and power equipment.Conduct troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and environmental alerts.Support the deployment of new infrastructure by preparing racks, mounting equipment, and performing cable routing.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or certifications are a plus.1–3 years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or related IT support roles.Familiarity with common data center hardware (servers, switches, PDUs, cabling components).Preferred SkillsExperience using cable testers, labelers, and fiber inspection tools.Knowledge of basic Linux or Windows command line operations.Troubleshooting of server connectivity, testing hardware componentsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mesa, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
