Position: MRI Technologist

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using advanced MRI equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Screen, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures.
• Administer IV contrast, including gadolinium, within scope of practice.
• Select appropriate imaging sequences, coils, and techniques.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Inspect images for quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Operate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
• Follow all MRI safety protocols and established clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program or A.A.S. degree.
• Active New Jersey General Radiography License.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
