ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN IIThe Florida Department of Military Affairs is seeking an Electronic Technician II. This position is located in Starke, FL. To be considered for this position, application must be fully completed, your responses to qualifying questions for this position must be verifiable by documentation provided through the electronic application process and clearly stated within the employment history.Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; and two (2) years of professional, full-time-equivalent experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment.Duties and responsibilities include inspections, testing, diagnosing, installing, repairing, replacing, servicing, modifying, altering, range operation support, and identifying safety issues with range layouts, target and range scenarios for all automated ranges, automated target and related range IT systems, Sound Effects Simulators (SES), and Battlefield Effects Simulator (BES) components.Knowledge, skills, and abilities include knowledge of the procedures, techniques, equipment, and tools used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment; knowledge of electronic equipment components and design requirements; skill in using specialized tools and equipment to install, maintain and repair electronic equipment; ability to identify and repair electronic malfunctions in electronic equipment; ability to understand and follow technical instructions relating to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment; ability to work independently; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; and ability to communicate effectively.
