Responsibilities include administering medications and immunizations, obtaining vital signs, maintaining inventory of supplies, and ensuring safe and efficient patient flow. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred. Certified Medical Assistant required. Certification must be achieved within 3 months of hire (AAMA, RMA/AMT, NCRMA (NAHP), NCMA(NCCT), RCMAS(NCMA), CCMA(NHA), or RMA (American Allied Health)). Five or more years of applicable MA experience in primary medical care may substitute for formal training if eligible for the RMA exam. A valid CPR certification is required upon hire and must be recertified every two years. Two years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred. Salary Range Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. When the range is shown as $0, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any further compensation discussion.
