Position Title: Quality TechnicianDepartment: QualityLocation: St. Louis, MO - Carr LaneReports To: Quality SupervisorClassification: Hourly - Non-Exempt Position Summary:This role includes testing products on the assembly line to ensure that they meet quality and engineering standards.Essential Job Duties:Ability to verify correct specifications, certifications, and packing requirements have been met.Record discrepancies and separate good from defective parts.Assume responsibility that completed product has met all requirements.Ability to implement SPC.Proper identification on product.Inspect for proper packaging.Record data for trending analysis.Report major failures as they happen.Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs.Required Education:High School Diploma/GEDDesired Experience:6-9 months of experience in Quality Assurance.Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and experience in inspection a plus.About Control Devices, LLCControl Devices, LLC ("Control Devices" or "CD") is a leading designer & manufacturer of high-quality flow control valves, condensate removal traps, related components & accessories serving the compressed air, pressure washer, vehicle systems, fire protection, specialty gas, & the industrial, agricultural & food service float valve markets.
