Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care consistent with established standards and regulations. This role requires strong assessment and communication skills, as well as proficient computer and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
• Conduct thorough assessments and implement appropriate care plans for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle emergency situations rapidly and efficiently.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Function independently while managing a diverse patient population.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
