Kitchen Fresh Foods is seeking an experienced and passionate Quality Control Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality leader who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and is committed to protecting consumers, supporting customers, and building a strong culture of food safety and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this leadership position plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality assurance, sanitation systems, and SQF compliance throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

As our Quality Control Manager, you will:

✅ Lead and continuously improve our quality management systems

✅ Serve as the facility SQF Practitioner, Food Defense Coordinator, and Recall Coordinator

✅ Oversee all Food Safety, Food Quality, and Sanitation programs, including development, implementation, training, verification, and maintenance

✅ Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits

✅ Monitor production processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations

✅ Investigate customer complaints, identify trends, and implement sustainable solutions

✅ Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives (CAPA)

✅ Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Product Management, Commercial teams, and Plant FSQA

✅ Develop and deliver training programs related to GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and product quality standards

✅ Monitor key performance indicators and communicate quality performance to senior leadership

✅ Foster accountability and support disciplinary processes related to food safety and quality standards

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related field

• Proven leadership experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Food Safety within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, SQF requirements, HACCP, GMPs, and quality management principles

• Experience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programs

• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proficiency with quality management systems and software

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQF Practitioner experience

• Food Safety, HACCP, PCQI, or related certifications

• Quality certifications such as ASQ, CQM, or equivalent
