RN - Rehab

Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

36 hours/week, Day/Eve/Night shifts, including holidays and weekends as per unit policy. Shifts available are 8 and 12 hours.

Join our interdisciplinary team in the Pediatric and Adult Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine unit where you will care for a diverse group of patients including those recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, Heart Failure, and other medically complex conditions. Your role will focus on providing both clinical and emotional support to patients and their families as they regain their independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the acute rehabilitation setting.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient care plans.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Current New York State RN License.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Recent pediatric experience preferred.
