Job Details Location: Indiana, PA 15701 Setting: 44-bed inpatient behavioral health / psychiatric facility Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/21/2026 Hours per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings Shift Pattern: Rotating days and nights, every other weekend, 3x12s Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100 Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum 1 year of inpatient adolescent psych or behavioral health nursing experience required BLS certification required De-escalation training or certification required; SAFE Training Course may be completed onsite if needed Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends Comfortable floating to adolescent and geriatric behavioral health units Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health and psychiatric environment Support adolescent psych and geriatric behavioral health units as needed Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to promote patient safety Monitor patient condition, document care accurately, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing treatment planning Maintain a safe, structured, and compassionate environment for patients and staff Participate in unit routines, patient observation, and crisis intervention when necessary Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
