Overview:
Seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a healthcare workforce in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Overview:
Seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations for a healthcare workforce in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state or multi-location healthcare workforce
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, shift differentials, and deductions
- Manage payroll taxes and assist with quarterly and year-end reporting
- Administer employee deductions including benefits, garnishments, and retirement contributions
- Maintain compliance with federal, state (WA), and healthcare-specific payroll regulations
- Support onboarding and employee record updates within payroll/HR systems
- Audit payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with HR, Finance, and department leaders to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
- 3+ years of payroll experience (healthcare, hospital, or clinic environment)
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
- Experience processing payroll for hourly, shift-based, or union employees preferred
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos, or similar)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze payroll data
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
