Hospitalist Physician - La Plata, MarylandWe have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. This is a full time position with a flexible block schedule.Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed.Position details:Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.Flexible block scheduleAverage patients per shift: 15-17EMR: EPICICU: Managed by the IntensivistProcedures/Vents: NoneMust be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with an active Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS License.Requirements:BE/BC in Internal MedicineStrong inpatient skill setQuality-focused team playerExperience working with advanced practice providersExcellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary teamEffective oral and written communication skillsCommitment to providing exceptional patient careActive (state) license, American Heart Association CPR certification, DEA License, State controlled substance registration, ACLSAbout Us - ADFINITAS HEALTHAdfinitas Health is a rapidly growing and multispecialty medical practice.
