Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including: Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans Holiday Pay Teladoc (online care) Referral Bonus Incentive Weekly Pay 401k And More! 1st Shift Welder Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm) Read blueprints and fabricate steel parts using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment Operate Forklift Clamps, holds, tack-welds, heat-bends, grinds or bolts component parts Fuse metal segments using gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding processes Monitor fitting, burning, & welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, use straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers 1st Shift Welder Qualifications: Lift/carry 15-50+, kneel, push, reach above shoulders, repetitive motion, stand, walk Jeans/T-Shirt, Close Toed Shoes Must pass aptitude testing before hire Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
