Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Seasonal Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | No On-Call Required | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk maternal patients across all gestational stages within a Level 4 designated maternal center
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, C-hysterectomy, and PASD cases
• Perform circulating operating room and triage duties as required by unit census
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Collaborate within a team-oriented environment, adapting quickly to changing patient needs and census demands
• Follow standardized unit order sets and adhere to established unit guidelines and dress code (navy blue scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk maternal patients
• Experience in circulating operating room and triage settings
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Greater than 5 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Familiarity with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
• Experience working in a Level 4 designated maternal care environment
