Job Title:Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager- Lender FinanceLocation:CA - Los Angeles, La PlayaWhat you'll do:As Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Manager - Lender Finance you'll be responsible for analyzing, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of large corporate loans & structured products ($25mm+). The Portfolio Manager will work with Directors and MD’s to ensure credit risks are monitored and identified. Join a growing team of 20 with $10B of AUM.Gather and analyze necessary information to present along with Originators, to Senior Management or Loan Committee for approval.· Analyze portfolio investment performance for buy/hold/sell recommendations· Prepare portfolio scorecards and recommend marks on collateral· Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; assist in solving problems in your portfolio.· Handle various other underwriting, portfolio management and upkeep tasks and responsibilities related to new loan requests and/or portfolio.What you'll need: 2+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Fixed Income investing.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring. Credit analyst training completed.Advanced speaking, excel and writing communication skills.Progress toward or completion of CFACompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 - $132,661.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 - $132,661.00 for San Diego, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
