Senior Reliability Engineer

Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart – separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling. Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land of the Arapaho National Forest, making it easy for our employees and their families to enjoy year-round hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the area. Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines. Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures and reduces production costs through development of maintenance methods to improve process efficiency and reliability. Lead others and/or performs root cause analysis of equipment failures. Acts as a subject matter expert as required and assists in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies. Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and sets expectations within the department for precision maintenance. Review and establish Key Performance Indices for equipment. Identify PM opportunities and maintenance plans by leading failure mode and effect analysis. Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and identifies reports to measure health indicators. Proactively develops and provides safety perspective for equipment and processes; makes recommendations of engineering solutions or methods to eliminate hazards. Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and five (5) years related experience in Engineering, OR Master’s degree in appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in Engineering. Proficiency of MS Office suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project Customer focused to provide quality service to improve equipment and process reliability. Experience with engineering design drawings and schematics Understand the importance of safety, legality and quality. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
