Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style (sliding headstock) CNC machines and related secondary equipment
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision gaging and metrology tools to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job layouts to complete machining operations accurately
• Follow work instructions while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and communicate effectively with engineering and production teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience, with strong preference for Swiss-style or high-precision lathe work
• Hands-on experience with sliding headstock / Swiss-type machines is highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and gaging equipment
• Solid teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and comfort working in a busy production setting
• Knowledge of special materials or heat-treating processes is a plus
