Responsibilities - Provide general physical therapy evaluations and treatments for adult patients; identify therapy diagnoses and develop goals. - Develop and implement a plan of care, adjusting treatment based on patient response to optimize outcomes. - Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff as applicable. - Document encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress, and prognoses in the patient record per policy. - Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary team members; participate in care conferences and rounds as needed. - Coordinate equipment, durable medical equipment (DME), and discharge planning to ensure appropriate care prior to discharge. - Educate patients and families; create clear home exercise programs and verify understanding through return demonstrations. - Facilitate patient and family engagement to promote self-care and independence; communicate progress and needs to the care team. - Support clinic operations, maintain space and equipment, and assist in quality and confidentiality initiatives. Requirements

• Alaska licensed Physical Therapist (active at time of submission)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited

program; or graduate from an APTA-approved program at Master’s or bachelor’s level with 2 years of related experience/Continuing Education

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in adult outpatient rehab
• Flu vaccination
• Applicant location restriction: must reside at least 50 miles from the

assignment site - Ability to work in an outpatient rehabilitation setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Benefits and Support
