We're looking for a skilled cook to bring strong culinary talent to a dynamic educational setting in Virginia Beach!

• Prepare fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals for students daily
• Create menus and dishes that support diverse tastes and dietary needs
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness (HACCP)
• Follow production sheets, recipes, and portion guidelines consistently
• Assist with meal planning, prep, and batch cooking in a high-volume kitchen
• Work as part of a supportive, team-focused culinary staff
• Help ensure an exceptional dining experience that students enjoy every day

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 6:30 A.M. to 3 P.M.
• Available overtime for catering events with prior notice

Pay Type:

$19.00 - $23.00 Hourly

• Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
• Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

• Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
