Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurses for a specialized unit located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves caring for cardiac patients both pre- and post-operatively in a new, dedicated CVICU setting. The position requires flexibility for a night shift schedule and may include additional duties such as on-call responsibilities and float to other critical care units.

Job Details:

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
• Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field, current Registered Nurse (RN) license, 1 year of experience in ICU or cardiovascular specializations, ability to work nights, and availability for every other weekend, holidays, and on call.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a CVICU environment, familiarity with surgical teams and intensivist collaboration, and flexibility in shift scheduling.
• Additional Information: The CVICU is a new and specialized 8-bed unit connected to a 14-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Staff work closely with surgical and intensivist teams and may be required to float to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
