Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Kansas state PT license required to start the assignment.
BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Minimum 6 months current acute care physical therapy experience required.
Experience with ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines preferred.
Experience with Meditech Magic EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
Neuro certification or neuro experience preferred.
Demonstrated skills in gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, caregiver training, and daily evaluation/treatment.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
Every other weekend required.
Typical patient load: carry up to a 6-hour treatment load during an 8-hour shift.
Clinician responsible for tracking therapy time/charges to meet inpatient rehab 3-hour therapy requirements.

Impacting Patient Care

Join as a travel PT and provide evaluation and treatment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Deliver gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training while collaborating with an interdisciplinary therapy team. Work in a modern 41-bed inpatient facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a full IADL kitchen. Maintain documentation and ensure required therapy minutes are met for each patient.
