You’ll report to the Manufacturing Technology Manager and be a go-to partner for Operations, Maintenance, and Technology.Imagine yourself hereYou walk the unit, spot-check a vessel inspection plan, and update SAP with new MIQA details. An operator flags an anomaly—together you diagnose it, apply FMEA thinking, and capture a predictive check for the route. In the afternoon, you align a capital scope with ASME/API codes, then share a reliability win across the network. Safety, OEE, reliability, and cost all move in the right direction—because of you.Impact you will makeTroubleshoot, maintain, and modify fixed equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable operation.Enable the operating and maintenance teams with technical troubleshooting and practical training.Guide project work to specifications, engineering standards, and QA expectations.Lead PSM criticality assessments; drive MIQA including critical spares, SAP master data, inspection plans/frequencies, and maintenance procedures.Use equipment trends, historical performance, and uptime data to justify life-cycle cost improvements.Lead/participate in Safety, Reliability, and Quality investigations.Contribute to maintenance/reliability networks and share successes and lessons learned.Perform FMEA and craft maintenance plans with operator/mechanic checks and predictive PPM.Support cost and capital projects—scope, justification, and installation of new/modified facilities.Keep your expertise sharp via training, seminars, and professional organizations.Provide shift/weekend coverage for start-ups, tests, turnarounds, and other non-routine events.Travel requirements areWhat you bringBS in Mechanical Engineering (or related) from an ABET-accredited university.2+ years of relevant industrial/manufacturing experience in fixed equipment (intern/co-op may count).Knowledge of piping, pressure vessels, valves, and welding; growing depth with experience.Data-driven problem solving and decision making.Ability to thrive both independently and on cross-functional teams.Clear, persuasive communication; translate stakeholder needs into engineering actions.Initiative, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to safe, timely project delivery.Comfort managing multiple priorities, tight timelines, and emergencies.Willingness to wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc.).Extra qualifications that stand out3+ to 11+ years’ progressive manufacturing/industrial experience or military equivalent.Maintenance/reliability best practices and work management processes.Materials science fundamentals (material selection and properties).NDT, welding, fabrication, and third-party vendor coordination.Familiarity with ASME BPVC Section VIII; ASME B31 Piping Codes; API codes (e.g., API 510, API 570).Experience with RCFA and FMEA.Data analysis, statistics, and failure investigation techniques.Engineering design standards and cost/capital justification.Background in PSM or OSHA high hazard process environments.Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems.Previous experience working with SAP or related software.What we offerCompetitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Packages401(k) MatchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramTuition ReimbursementLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DayWe’re a people-first company.
