We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, FNP, or AGNP) specializing in Neurology or Psychiatry to join our growing practice in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will work alongside physicians, therapists, and specialists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients seeking comprehensive brain health solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Diagnostics

• Perform detailed outpatient neurological and psychiatric clinical evaluations.
• Obtain complete medical, psychiatric, neurological, and social histories.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for cognitive, mental health, and neurological disorders.
• Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychotropic and neurological medications appropriately.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory panels, MRI/imaging studies, and specialized diagnostic testing.
• Conduct crisis assessments and modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, expectations, and long-term care plans.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with supervising physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, and clinical staff.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning sessions.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
• Adhere to all Texas regulatory, ethical, and professional clinical standards.
• Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and outcome-tracking protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Certifications:
• • Active DEA Registration & BLS Certification .
  • National Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) —OR— Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) with significant clinical experience in neurology.

Experience

• Required: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP evaluating and managing neurological and/or psychiatric conditions.
• Preferred: Direct background in neurology, neuropsychiatry, behavioral neurology, traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussion management, or cognitive rehabilitation medicine.
