Trust & Estate Tax Manager | 100% Remote

$130-160K Base + Bonus + 100% Employer-Paid Benefits

Are you a seasoned tax professional with a focus in the Trust & Estate areas of personal HNW/UHNW tax and are looking to make a significant impact, keep reading.

Our client, a well-established CPA consulting, advisory and tax planning firm is looking for a Trust & Estate Tax Manager to take ownership of a complex, high-net-worth client portfolio. This is a fully remote role with real technical depth and direct client responsibility.

The Work

You will lead tax planning and compliance for HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and entities. That includes:

Designing and implementing comprehensive tax planning strategies across personal, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax
Structuring trust instruments to support wealth transfer goals and minimize tax exposure
Overseeing preparation and review of complex returns - personal, fiduciary (1041), estate (706), and gift (709)
Conducting technical tax research and resolving complex issues
Serving as a primary relationship holder with clients - not just a reviewer in the background

This is a client-facing leadership role. You will be visible, trusted, and accountable.

What You Bring

4+ years in tax planning, with meaningful time spent on trust, estate, and HNW work
Background in a CPA firm, wealth management firm, or law firm - you understand the client profile
Strong technical command of tax laws and a desire to continue your personal and professional development and growth.
CPA, JD, or EA required
The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients who are smart but not tax professionals
A track record of mentoring staff and building toward results
