Overview Be a part of the Temp-Stop Family. Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 convenience store locations and 2 liquor stores. Starting pay is $15.00 an hour for a store associate, with higher pay for experienced candidates. You can earn an additional $0.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m., receive performance reviews as early as 90 days, and obtain health insurance within 90 days of starting. Vacation pay, overtime over 40 hours, annual bonus based on store profits, and overtime for holiday work are included. Responsibilities Perform customer service in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance. Run a cash register, maintaining accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc. Complete shift reports. Clean the store (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.). Stock shelves and coolers. Sweep and mop floors. Check product in as it is delivered from vendors. Perform yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells, etc.). Merchandise and display products. Perform other tasks assigned by management. Communicate with associates and guests. Count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork. Wear the required store uniform. Work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Have reliable transportation. Attend mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment). Meet physical requirements: frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs on occasion; reach above shoulder height and bend below waist; freely access all store areas; move quickly around store.
