Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, the clinic is open Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) and the Walk In Clinic is open Monday - Friday (7:30am-5:30pm) and Saturday (8am-12pm). The clinical support team rotates different shifts, with opening shift starting at 7am and closing shift end at 6pm. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN. Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards. Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees. Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Vocational / TechnicalDiploma in Practical Nursing License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia Experience : 0 years of experience Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
