Job Description: Wastequip has an opening for an Industrial Painter to support the Eagleville, TN location. This is a full time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more. The ideal Candidate should be familiar with using an airless paint finishing system in a fast-paced production environment, where they will spray surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective/decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer. 1st shift hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Hourly Pay: $20.30 RESPONSIBILITIES Cleans grease and dirt from product Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested Removes rust from metal with acid, wire brush, or steel wool Starts grinder and moves it over the surface of the workpiece to remove scratches, laminated metal, and excess weld material Other job duties may be assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience using an Airless Paint Finishing System or similar Experience painting metal surfaces, machinery and/or manufactured products Experience using paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat or lacquer Preferred experience in a fast paced production environment Be able to work standing up for most of the shift Company Benefits: 2 Medical Plan Options - Base HSA (High Deductible) and Buy-Up Medical Plans Prescription (Rx) Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 2 Dental Plan Options - Base Dental and Buy-Up Dental Plans Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s) Health Care FSA Dependent Care FSA Company Paid Base Life Insurance Company Paid Accident, Death & Dismemberment Insurance Company Paid Business Travel Accident Insurance Company Paid Disability Insurance Short-Term Disability (STD) and Base Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Voluntary Hospital, Accident & Critical Illness (Cancer) Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan with 50% Company Match Voluntary Pet Insurance Vacation and Personal/Sick Time Paid Grandparent Leave Paid Bonding Leave Paid Adoption Assistance Education Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement) About Wastequip Wastequip got its start in 1989 with containers and compactors.
