You will directly contribute to our nation's defense and security by playing a key role in the development of advanced systems.We are seeking a proactive engineer with a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving. In this role, you will lead a technical team of engineers on a development program. You and your team will be responsible for some or all of system architecture, managing system and configuration item requirements, system design and integration, and verification and qualification testing. You will explore innovative applications of modeling and AI. Throughout the Systems Engineering V-Model, you will work with cross-functional teams – including BAE Systems employees, contractors, and military service customers – to drive innovation and deliver high-quality performance.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, and 10 years of related/relevant work or a Master's Degree and 8 years of related/relevant workExperience with DOORSExperience in an electronic lab including the use of commercial test equipmentKnowledge of requirements and their purpose in systems engineeringExperience with the entire product development process including:System architecture, requirements, test procedure development, system integration and requirement verification and validationAbility to handle multiple assignments and work in a dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office toolsPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsCurrently hold an active Secret clearanceBachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical EngineeringExperienced / trained in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) preferably Cameo/SysMLProven use and understanding of system engineering conceptsExperience across the entire product development process including architecture, requirements, test procedure development, system integration and requirement verification and validationExperience developing test procedures and troubleshooting in a digital and Radio Frequency (RF) electronics lab environment, and potentially at customer domestic and international sites.Cost Account Manager (CAM) training or experienceArtificial Intelligence (AI) LiteracyPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
