The District Apartments is a 144-unit multifamily community located in North Hills. We're looking for a Leasing Specialist who can deliver an exceptional prospect and resident experience while helping drive occupancy and community growth. The Role We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Leasing Specialist to serve as a key ambassador for The District. This role combines leasing, marketing, resident engagement, and customer service to help drive occupancy and strengthen our community culture. You'll be responsible for creating a positive first impression for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process, and helping maintain the high standards that make The District a desirable place to live. You'll work closely with the Property Management and Operations teams to support leasing goals, resident satisfaction, and community growth. Leasing & Resident Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents through phone, email, online inquiries, and walk‑in traffic Conduct personalized tours of the community and apartment homes, highlighting features, amenities, and neighborhood benefits Maintain strong knowledge of community offerings, pricing, availability, and local market conditions Guide prospects through the application, approval, and lease execution process Ensure lease documents, addendums, and resident files are completed accurately and maintained according to company standards Coordinate move‑ins and assist with resident transitions to create a seamless onboarding experience Support resident retention efforts by providing responsive service and building positive resident relationships Address resident concerns professionally and collaborate with team members to deliver timely solutions Marketing & Community Outreach Assist with leasing and marketing initiatives designed to increase traffic and occupancy Monitor and engage with social media platforms to promote the community and resident experience Help coordinate resident events, renewal campaigns, and community‑building activities Track competitor activity and market trends to help identify leasing opportunities Ensure model units, tour paths, and community common areas are presented at the highest standard Operations & Team Support Maintain accurate prospect and leasing pipeline records within company systems Prepare reports and assist with occupancy, leasing, and traffic tracking Partner closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure a consistent resident experience Support special projects and community initiatives as needed What We're Looking For Required: 5+ years of experience in a professional office setting Strong organization, written communication, and follow‑through Professional, energetic, and customer‑focused attitude Ability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule Comfort learning and utilizing property management software and digital tools Preferred: Multifamily leasing or property management experience Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices College degree or coursework in business, marketing, communications, or a related field Proven ability to meet or exceed sales, leasing, or customer service goals Experience in a multi‑division or fast‑growing company Salary: $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience Time off: 10 days PTO + 11 paid holidays Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance How to Apply Send your resume and a short note about why this role interests you to View email address on click.appcast.io.
