Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts with rotating days off (Saturday/Sunday 06:30-23:00, Monday 06:30-15:00). Minimal call requirement of 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Weekend coverage includes 2 shifts per contract.

• 91-day travel assignment in a Level I Trauma facility with 14 operating rooms and daily census of 45
• Epic charting system with comprehensive electronic medical records
• Diverse surgical caseload including orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology procedures
• Opportunity to work with advanced technology including Da Vinci robotic systems and endovascular procedures
• Minimal call requirements with predictable scheduling and rotating days off
• 36-hour orientation to support successful transition into the role

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Texas or Compact license required at time of submission)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Required experience in orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgical procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgery preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
