Assist in determining the suitability of donors Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center while using required personal protective equipment Relate sensitive information to diverse groups Requirements Superior customer service standards High School diploma or GED Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable Patient, reliable, and committed to keeping donors comfortable and happy Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions Ability to listen to and understand spoken information Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day Frequent hand movement and fast, precise finger, hand, and wrist movements Ability to squat, crouch, or sit on one's heels when required Ability to walk up to 6-8 hours per day Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
