Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required
• Strong knowledge of AORN standards and surgical procedures
• BLS certification (additional certifications such as ACLS or CNOR preferred)
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to efficiently multitask and adapt in a fast-paced surgical setting

Schedule:

• Shifts and hours may vary depending on surgical needs and assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate during surgical cases, ensuring aseptic technique and supporting surgeons and surgical technologists
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after operative procedures
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient medical records
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond to emergencies or changes in patient condition
• Assist with care coordination, patient education, and post-anesthesia recovery as needed
• Uphold all infection control and facility compliance protocols
