The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Provides patient care and treatment by administering radiopharmaceuticals using basic techniques in Nuclear Medicine. Responsible for providing NM procedures and delivery of service in accordance with department policy and procedure as well as HFAP regulatory standards. Ensures compliance with all Illinois Emergency Management Agency Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) regulatory standards as applicable to NM. Ensures daily reconciliation of Open Order Report. Responsible for proper dispensing and disposal of radioactive material according to IEMA Regulatory Standards The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Provides patient care and treatment by administering radiopharmaceuticals using basic techniques in Nuclear Medicine. Minimum Requirements:

- Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Must be licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
- CPR certification is required.
- ARRT Required
