Interventional Radiologist
Facility is seeking Interventional Radiologist to join team - Serves as a teleradiologist for facilities that do not have on-site radiologists. Perform CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies and drainages, vascular access procedures, IVC Filter placement and retrieval, Nephrostomy and Cholecystostomy placement, Angiography and embolization. Performs and interprets the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures. Reviews and transmits images and information using picture archiving and communications systems. Communicates examination results and diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, and families. EMR: Epic. Participates in continuing education activities to maintain and develop expertise. Implements protocols in areas such as drugs, resuscitation, emergencies, power failures, and infection control. Responsible for complete review of medical records and communicating with referring clinicians. Board certification required - J VISA OK H VISA OK
