Director, Insurance Deal Strategy & Transformation

Within EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Deal Management – Financial Services – Insurance practice works on the most complex and high‑profile global transactions in the financial services sector. This role focuses on preparing and executing separation and integration plans, identifying sources of value enhancement, and advising on risk mitigation and successful change of operations, functions and people. Your Key Responsibilities Lead and manage operational focused projects supporting client service teams. Develop and execute strategies for transactions across pre‑ and post‑deal phases. Drive value creation through integration planning, risk mitigation, and change management. Mentor and support team members, and participate in formal learning opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 3 years of related experience. MBA preferred. Experience in a consulting environment working with insurance clients (property and casualty, life and annuity, and/or brokerage). Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve‑outs with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Leadership experience in complex business environments. Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building skills. Residency or ability to commute to one of the listed locations. Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when required. Preferred Qualifications Proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transaction role. Experience in a large professional services organization. Knowledge of firm‑approved AI tools, e.g., Microsoft Copilot. Established networking skills in the relevant industry. What We Offer Competitive compensation ranging from $205,000 to $235,000 in the U.S., with a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off.
