Job Summary

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting the team in prep, and to prepare food to our specifications and to set up stations for menu. This position requires a background in the food industry, with an emphasis on teamwork and leadership within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant standards.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, breading meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to implement innovative menu items.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Participate in special events or catering functions as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food production within a professional kitchen setting.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Familiarity with menu planning and food presentation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
