About the Position

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Position located on the 3rd floor of the main building
• Work with GE Artist 1.5T scanner, 3T Siemens Tim Trio, 3T GE GEM, and 1.5T GE Signa equipment
• EMR systems used: Meditech and Centricity
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Perform neuro, anesthesia, and IV sedation procedures
• Administer contrast agents and operate equipment and protocols
• 1-2 holidays per year required
• 1-2 nights of call per week required
• 1 call weekend every 6-8 weeks required
• Minimum 6 months of current MRI Tech experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Experience with ICU vented patients preferred
• Must have ability to multi-task
• Patient care experience is a priority

Facility:

This facility is a 400-bed hospital with a dedicated Magnetic Resonance imaging department featuring 2-4 MRI scanners. The MRI department employs 5-10 full-time staff members and operates across multiple shifts including day, mid, and evening coverage. The facility is equipped with advanced imaging technology and serves a diverse patient population requiring a wide range of MRI procedures.
