Hockey Coach

Ice Resurfacer / Janitorial Support Must be 18 years of age. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a part-time position. Primary responsibilities include ice resurfacing, edging, and some janitorial work. Also provides cooperative assistance within all areas of the business. Paid training provided. Manager on Duty Must be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a part-time position. Under the direction of the General Manager, the Manager on Duty will manage activities on three sheets of ice. We are seeking a disciplined, self‑motivated person to oversee rink operations during their shift. The successful candidate will be hands‑on, have dynamic people, supervisory, and communication skills and be experienced in rink operations. This is not an office administrative position. Candidates should be capable of managing other staff and handling cash. Attention to detail, adherence to established policies, and excellence in customer service including creating a positive and safe environment is a must. Experience with hockey programs is a plus. Custodian Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Prior experience preferred. This is a part‑time position. Duties include: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Hockey Coach We are always looking for talented hockey coaches for our Tier 1 and Tier 2 hockey programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in all aspects of the program: On‑ice teaching and player development. Practice/game planning and coaching. Coordinating team travel. Daily administrative duties. Must know and understand USA Hockey, DVHL, AYHL and the differences between Tier 1 and Tier 2 hockey. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), computer skills, and a knowledge and commitment to all USA Hockey regulations. Prior coaching or playing experience is preferred. Must be able to teach ice skating skills and programs: Must be able to teach and communicate effectively with patrons of all ages, verbally & in writing. Knowledge of general ice arena scheduling, programs, and staffing. Knowledge of ice skating programs, and related safety measures/procedures. Typical education or training required for this position (including licenses). Must be a current USFS member, or able to obtain membership. At least one year of experience in ice skating instruction. Must be available evenings and weekends. Additional responsibilities include scorekeeping duties such as arriving early, preparing score sheets, managing official game records, arranging scoreboard data, and keeping events on schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr
