Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description: The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in the Interventional Radiology department. This role requires proficiency in previous Interventional Radiology procedures, including scrub and circulate duties. The technologist will work closely with nursing support and other team members to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures including dialysis work, neph tubes, arteriograms, and embolizations.
• Assist in a variety of interventional procedures such as cerebral arteriograms, coiling, and mechanical thrombectomies.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and technical staff in the Interventional Radiology unit.
• Maintain detailed patient records using Cerner EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology, including scrub and circulate roles.
• Neurointerventional Radiology experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in Vascular OR or Cath Lab is a plus.
