CNC Machinist
HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry in Sidney, OH!
Salary: Up to $35/hour + 15% shift differential
Shift: Night Shift | Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM–4:30 AM | Voluntary overtime available Fridays and Saturdays
Location: Sidney, OH
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes, Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs).
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, machine setups, and first-piece inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements.
- Manufacture precision aerospace components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Adjust tooling, offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters to maintain quality and productivity.
- Independently troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues.
- Monitor tooling performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Accurately complete required production and inspection documentation.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
