Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager, Central Region, is responsible for driving sales performance, profitability, and distribution growth for Kumho Tire’s passenger and light truck (PLT) portfolio across Texas and Louisiana. This high-visibility role serves as the primary point of contact for key dealers, distributors, and retail partners. You will lead territory strategy, execute sales initiatives, and expand market presence while building strong customer relationships and delivering sustainable business results. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for PLT sales and associate dealer programs across the Central Region, including select multi-state key accounts Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with corporate objectives, driving volume, mix, profitability, and distribution targets Monitor sales performance, market share, and program participation; identify gaps and implement corrective actions Gather and communicate competitive market intelligence, including pricing, product trends, and industry dynamics Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand distribution and improve sell-in and sell-out performance Partner with dealer sales teams to increase engagement and compliance with Kumho associate programs Conduct regular customer visits, ride-alongs, and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and drive results Support and execute tradeshows, customer events, and product launches, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, customer service, credit, and finance teams to support customer success Work closely with sales leadership and cross-divisional teams to optimize regional performance Prepare accurate sales forecasts, territory reports, and presentations with actionable insights Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and brand standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5–7+ years of progressive PLT tire sales experience, preferably in regional or key account roles Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory performance Willingness to travel 50–75%, including overnight travel Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in a dynamic market environment Excellent relationship management and customer engagement skills Strong organizational and time management capabilities across a multi-state territory Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Advanced analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data, pricing, and product mix Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability Key account management experience preferred Why Join Kumho Tire USA Join a global brand that is actively expanding its footprint in the U.S. market.
