- Build trusting and respectful relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Maintain ongoing, professional communication about children's activities, progress, and developmental needs.
- Share learning activities that families can continue at home to reinforce classroom experiences.
- Encourage family participation in classroom activities, workshops, trainings, and program events.
- Document parent communication and volunteer activities as required.
- Work collaboratively with families, coworkers, and program leadership to support each child's success.
HOW YOU SHOW UP
At TRF, we believe preschool teachers have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in how children see themselves, connect with others, and approach learning.
You are patient and encouraging, even when children are working through big feelings or challenging moments.
You understand that play is an important part of learning and that children's questions, interests, and discoveries can create meaningful teaching opportunities.
You create structure and consistency while giving children the freedom to explore, make choices, and develop independence.
You know when to guide, when to listen, and when to let children try something on their own.
You communicate openly with families and coworkers and understand that every child deserves to feel valued and supported.
You bring creativity, warmth, and intention to your classroom—and you understand that the experiences you create today can help shape a child's confidence and love of learning for years to come.
BENEFITS INCLUDE:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation, Sick Leave, 401(k), and Professional Development Opportunities.
