Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the PCU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Monitor patient status, interpret data from monitors and tests, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; ensure accuracy and safe medication practices
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate with patients and families
- Document nursing care in the medical record and maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards; participate in rounding, care planning, and patient education

Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Graduation from an approved RN educational program (ASN or BSN)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a PCU/step-down environment; critical care competencies expected
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Ability to work nights in a hospital setting and collaborate with a diverse care team
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
