Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Echo Technician to perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures on a weekend shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with GE Echo machines and Change Healthcare PACS, ensuring high-quality cardiac imaging for patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and consistently maintain GE Echo machines to produce precise cardiac images.
• Perform echocardiographic examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and organize images for physician review.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic processes.
• Adhere to safety and infection control guidelines during procedures.
• Complete administrative documentation, including start date, RTO, birthdate, and SSN, ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or CCI, or be eligible for certification.
• Have experience operating GE Echo machines and Change Healthcare PACS systems.
• Hold CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor, compliant with hospital policies.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR system.
• Possess echocardiography (ECG) certification (preferred).
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
