Job Overview

Position: Echo Technician

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Cardiology

Available Shifts: Full-Time, Daytime

Salary Range: $660.00 - $770.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 36-hour workweek (3x10-hour shifts); equivalent to $60.00 - $70.00 per hour.

Assignment Duration: 4 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds to evaluate heart structures and blood flow
• Accurately obtain cardiac measurements
• Assist physicians during complex procedures
• Support departmental operations and administrative tasks
• Manage documentation and the flow of information

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• Completion of an Echocardiogram program or equivalent training is mandatory.
• Current BCLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Ability to assist physicians with TEE testing is essential.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Echo Technician is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting within the Cardiology field is preferred.
• As of July 1, 2017, ARDMS or CCI certification is required.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. This estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for other locations. The exact starting salary will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
