Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected schedule includes every other weekend | Projected Start: October 26, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department (plus 8 hall beds) with a 1:4 patient ratio on night shift
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV placement, blood draws, NIH stroke assessments, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate and monitor equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary night shift team consisting of a charge nurse, RNs, and paramedic/LVN support
• Adhere to facility dress code: royal blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency care environment
