Physical Therapist

University Orthopedics is seeking a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy staff.

• The Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments, activity limitation and participation restrictions.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Implements treatment interventions and performs on-going evaluations through-out episode of care.
• Evaluate patients of various ages with musculoskeletal dysfunction
• Design and discuss appropriate treatment interventions based on findings in evaluation
• Perform necessary documentation to ensure compliance with federal and insurance regulations
• Manage patient progress through therapy
• Provide timely and appropriate billing information for services provided
• Other clinical duties as assigned by PT Department to meet patient needs
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager to meet department needs Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program,
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of MA & State of RI,
• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedics/musculoskeletal rehab preferred,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Ability to maintain confidentiality ,
• Attention to detail,
• Team oriented professional,
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skill,
• Must be able to traveltoall sitesif/when necessary
