Job Summary
Ensures that inspection of product is safely performed, in accordance with customer contract requirements and internal procedures.  This is accomplished by appropriate assignment of inspection staff and the coordination of the flow of quality product and data throughout the manufacturing processes.
Primary Responsibilities

• Ability to identify & understand contractual requirements, product specifications, and company procedures.
• Coordinates with Quality Inspection staff in order to meet production requirements.
• Oversees product inspections and applicable documentation per customer requirements.
• Effectively supervises & trains Quality Inspection staff, within company policies and Operational Excellence values.
• Reviews quality problems with Engineering personnel and directs actions to correct discrepancies.
• Issues corrective actions of deficient processes, participates in resolution activities, and follows up to verify corrective/preventive action effectiveness.
• Participates and leads subordinates in Operational Excellence & LEAN initiatives in order to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Maintains systems, processes, and documentation that complies with Armtec’s ISO 9001 registration.
• Assists in review/interpretation of technical data for lot performance and MRB activities.
• Maintains the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
• Understands and lives by Armtec’s ethics and business conduct policies.

• Must have good written and verbal skills.
• Must have the ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of situations in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to comprehend written and oral directions and be able to follow standard procedures for quality and safety.
• Must have the ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

• Three to Five years experience in the Quality/Supervisory field.
• Two years (min.) experience in a leadership role.
• 4-Year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Hours

• 4/10 Work Schedule – 40 hour week. Overtime as needed.
